The new Xerial line is a measured response to skin dryness.
Because it promotes elimination of scaling for better hydration, the new Xerial line has an innovative scaling-regulating effect and a moistening and emollient effect. The scaling-regulating innovation lies in the carrying of “corneospheres” in the urea that have an effect on breaking down keratin. This scaling-regulating action is reinforced by the presence of highly concentrated urea and lactic acid, which break the chemical bonds, and 5% glycerol which participates in destroying the corneodesmosomes. This active combination promotes the elimination of scales from dry, scaling skin.
The moistening and emollient effect of the Xérial line make it possible to re-establish the hydrolipid film that protects the skin.
In addition, these new optimised pharmaceutical preparations combine effectiveness with cosmetic pleasure.
